VISIA facial imaging & analysis

WHAT is it?

It is the objective way to assess your true skin health and age and the areas of improvement. It is a High quality, standardized Facial Imaging system that captures with it’s multi point positioning system and is extremely reliable and reproducible. Most importantly it can be used to compare before and after without the photograph bias to ensure your treatment is as effective as we boast it to be!

What is the cost?

Every client at Dr Beeautiful Aesthetics will be offered a complimentary skin analysis when booking for a treatment at their first treatment appointment for objective and measurable data provided by the VISIA System. This ensures patient satisfaction and quality control on our behalf that we are able to reproduce the same treatment to every client. Results of treatment may vary but it should still be an improvement from the starting point. For a limited time we are offering this complimentary with all our initial consultations.

How Does It Work?

The VISIA Complexion Analysis System uses cross-polarized UV lighting to identify skin conditions on the surface and the subsurface of your skin. VISIA then provides an objective percentile score relative to others in your demographic. It scores for:

  • Wrinkles

  • Spots (sun damage spots, melasma, hyperpigmentation, angiomas, and

telangiectasias)

  • Enlarged pores

  • Texture as an indicator of collagen, elasticity, exfoliative properties, and inflammation

  • Porphyrins and a measure of bacterial activity on the surface of the skin

  • UV spots indicating ultraviolet sun damage

How will you take my picture?

When you arrive for your appointment you will be required to put your chin on a chin rest and stabilize the head on a head rest very similarly like when you go for an eye exam, except you will keep your eyes closed for the photos and it takes photos from 3 directions in a series of super-high-resolution photos and create a score-based report for you and your skin care specialist. You will be expected to remove all makeup and sunscreen before your analysis for best results.
